Days 1 and 2: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from London to Cape Town.
Days 2 to 4: Cape Town – Meals: Breakfast
Spend three nights in Cape Town exploring this fascinating city. Take the cable car up Table Mountain, visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, the Botanical Gardens, the renovated dock area of the Waterfront and more. The fashionable resort of Camps Bay is worth a visit if you enjoy beaches. Or travel slightly further around the Cape to Boulders Bay to see the penguins or the point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. You will not be short of things to do and enjoy including great food and wine. Our accommodation choices in many cases have good leisure facilities where you can relax and unwind. We include a self drive car so that you can explore Cape Town and the surrounding Cape at your own pace.
Day 5: Cape Town to Winelands
A short drive to Stellenbosch.
Days 5 and 6: Stellenbosch – Meals: Breakfast
The Winelands have some of the best wines and scenery of South Africa. Stellenbosch has numerous vineyards that you can visit on a wine tasting tour. The region is also home to some exceptional restaurants that will delight the most discerning palates. There is also time to relax and explore at your leisure.
Day 7: Stellenbosch to Kruger Game Reserve
A short drive back to Cape Town to catch your flight to Hoedspruit.
Day 7 to 9: Kruger National Park – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Spend three days in world famous Kruger. This conservation area offers some of the best game viewing opportunities in the world. The Big 5 can all be seen in the Kruger area as well as abundant bird life. Our chosen accommodation includes game drives in small groups with experienced guides who will take you in search of your favourite animals.
Day 10: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg to London
Transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight back to London via Johannesburg.
Day 11: London
Arrive back in London.
