Day 1 : London to Lima
Fly to Lima, Peru’s capital city.
Days 1 to 3 : Lima | Meals: Breakfast
Lima is a great place to start your family experience with its enchanting old town, gold museum and catacombs. We include two half day tours – one including a park with the most fountains in the world and another including the gold museum.
Day 4 : Lima to Amazon Basin
Fly from Lima to Puerto Maldonado, gateway to the Amazon and onward to your lodge.
Days 4 to 6 : Amazon Rainforest | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Four days of wildlife excursions from your Amazon lodge by boat or on foot. You will head out exploring on jungle walks, go piranha fishing, take night trips to spot alligators in the wild and take a visit to a local village. Day 7 : Amazon to Cusco Fly from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco.
Days 7 and 8 : Cusco | Meals: Breakfast
Cusco, high on the plains, is a former capital city of the Incas, which you can get to know on our guided half day tour of the city centre and nearby ruins.
Day 9 : Cusco to Sacred Valley
Drive from Cusco to Sacred Valley.
Days 9 and 11 : Sacred Valley | Meals: Breakfast
Tour of the Sacred Valley visiting the market town and ruins of Pisac. Next day take the train to Machu Picchu and visit the lost city of the Incas, which will enthrall adults and children alike. During a day at leisure in the Sacred Valley you can relax or try white water rafting, mountain biking or horse riding
Day 12 : Sacred Valley to Cusco | Meals: Breakfast
Afternoon train journey to Cusco. Spend the night in Cusco.
Day 13 : Cusco to Lima to London
Fly from Cusco to Lima for flight home to London.
Day 14 : London
Arrival in London.
