Days 1 and 2: London to Nairobi
Fly overnight from London to Nairobi.
Days 2 to 3: Nairobi – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Nairobi is the perfect place to start your trip. You will spend two nights here with plenty to see and do, which is suitable for the whole family, from exploring the history and culture to visiting an elephant orphanage and The Giraffe Centre.
Day 4: Nairobi to Laikipia
Today, you will be transferred to Laikipia.
Days 4 and 5: Laikipia – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner
Spend two days in Laikipia. Set against the backdrop of Mount Kenya, this area is home to a number of wildlife conservancies. Families are welcome with game drives, bush walks and horseback safaris designed to suit many different ages. Laikipia’s vast plains are home to a number of Kenya’s endangered species, including black rhinos and wild dogs, as well as many more common species and over two thousand elephants.
Day 6: Laikipia to Masai Mara
Today you head to the Masai Mara.
Days 6 to 8: Masai Mara – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Your last three days are spent in Masai Mara, taking part in game drives in search of the large number of animals that live in or pass through the Masai Mara, including the Big Five. Game drives and activities are tailored to families’ interests and ages. Masai tribesmen delight in sharing the secrets of animal tracking and their very different way of life, which you also see for yourself by visiting a local village or school. Even with so much to do, there will be time for a dip in the pool, stargazing, and memorable meals under the stars.
Day 9: Masai Mara to Nairobi to London
The end of your family adventure with a flight to London via Nairobi.
Day 10: London
Arrive back in London.
