KwaZulu-Natal - safaris
KwaZulu-Natal region is host to a number of reserves including Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, the oldest game reserve in Africa, declared by Zulu kings in 1895. It is an area of rounded hills and valleys ideal for game spotting and bird watching. There are ample opportunities to see the Big Five in a low risk malaria zone.
Guided game drives and safari walks are led by knowledgeable KZN wildlife trackers and guides or you can explore in your own vehicle at your own pace. Imfolozi, in the south, is best known for Operation Rhino which helped save white rhinos from extinction in the 1950s and 1960s and is lower lying with broad rivers and a wide variety of wildlife and bird life.
We feature a number of camps and lodges that cater for all tastes and ages, including families with children.
