Day 1 : London to San Jose
Fly to San Jose, Costa Rica’s capital city. Stay overnight.
Day 2 : San Jose to Arenal Volcano region
Days 2 to 4 : Arenal Volcano region | Meals: Breakfast
Drive to Arenal Volcano region where there are hiking opportunities, beautiful waterfalls and wildlife and more active zip-lining and white water rafting. The Arenal Hanging Bridges tour takes place on a 600-acre reserve filled with lush vegetation and a variety of birds and animals which an experienced private guide will help you spot. The trail itself is about two miles long, crossing nine fixed bridges and six suspension bridges. A guided day trip to Cano Negro for a boat trip in search of wildlife is also included.
Day 5 : Arenal Volcano area to Monteverde Cloud Forest

Days 5 and 6 : Monteverde Cloud Forest | Meals: Breakfast
Monteverde Cloud Forest bursting with wildlife. The Monteverde Reserve is the last sizeable area of untouched cloud-forest in Central America. The region is home to an estimated 2,500 species of plants, more than 100 species of mammals, 490 species of butterflies and over 400 species of birds. The area is fabulous for walking, especially early in the morning when mists cover the trees. We include a guided plantation visit, canopy walks and zip lining for those interested.
Day 7 : Monteverde Cloud Forest to Manuel Antonio

Days 7 to 9 : Manuel Antonio | Meals: Breakfast
Manuel Antonio is one of Costa Rica’s most popular national parks with one of the most picturesque beaches in Costa Rica, which has also been rated as one the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach is roughly a half mile long, a perfect white sand crescent, bordered by deep green mangroves and towering palms.
Day 10 : Manuel Antonio to San Jose for flight home
Drive to San Jose for return flight to London.
Day 11 : London
Arrival in London.
