Estancia Rincon del Socorro offers stylish rural accommodation and an opportunity for guests to experience and explore this unique area of wetlands. The estancia was built in 1896 in classic Spanish style on a 30,000 acre estate. Until 1999 it was a working cattle ranch. It was then bought by The Conservation Land Trust, which aims to preserve and in some cases restore the environment.

A programme of activities is available starting with an early morning walk or horse ride to the reserve. Deeper exploration of the wetlands is possible in boats that navigate the waterways or with optional short flight over areas that are otherwise inaccessible. After dark jeep safaris take guests in search of the wildlife of the wetlands. For relaxation there is a swimming pool and large gardens. The restaurant serves a wide variety of organic dishes prepared with locally grown fruits and vegetables.
